We’ve been partners-in-fun since high school, when we first teamed up to plan school council events and never really stopped organizing, laughing, and celebrating together. Over twenty years later, we’ve shared countless milestones, a love of good themes, and more memories than we can count. A proud Fort McMurrayite, Seville is our community’s go-to volunteer extraordinaire — always ready to lend a hand, light up a room with her quick wit, and hit the dance floor whenever there’s music (or even when there isn’t).

Krista and Heather met during their undergraduate days at the University of Ottawa through Nu Sigma Pi sorority. Over the past 20 years, they’ve shared a love of table and bar dancing, defied expectations of what’s possible on little sleep, and supported each other through relationships, children, and their perfectly Type A personalities. Krista is so grateful to have Heather by her side for yet another unforgettable chapter.

Krista and Kerri first met through magazine publishing and editing, quickly discovering a shared love of champagne, great food, and chick flicks. Over the past 12 years, they’ve worked side by side, traveled together, and shared countless adventures, laughs, and lessons. Their friendship is built on mutual understanding, unwavering support, and just enough honesty to make sure neither one fully self-destructed along the way.

Krista and Laila bonded over their shared love of politics, great election signs, and all things Harry Potter. Geeky at heart and always supportive of each other’s quirks, they’ve grown from friends into sisters. Now, as they navigate motherhood and busy careers side by side, Krista is endlessly grateful for Laila’s love, laughter, and unwavering support through every chapter.

Rebecca and Krista first connected through their shared love of community events in Fort McMurray — and after a few hilarious event mishaps, some quick problem-solving, and a memorable trip to Mexico, the rest was history. They’ve since built a friendship filled with laughter, wine, Hallmark movies, cake, and plenty of poolside chats. Rebecca is the ultimate east coaster at heart — loyal, warm, and always up for good food, travel, and a bottle (or two) of bubbly. She’s the kind of friend who shows up, makes everything better, and keeps the fun going no matter what.

Krista first met Neesha during orientation week at the College of Law in Saskatchewan, where they instantly bonded over their shared mission to bring people together and their mutual ambition to be everyone’s best friend. From study sessions and social events in law school to surviving CPLED and navigating their first year of practice, Neesha has been a steady source of support, laughter, and friendship every step of the way.

Krista met Saba in their first year of law school, where they connected over their shared life experience—both coming to law mid-career, bringing business savvy, and commuting back and forth from Alberta. Bonded by their love of good food, laughter, and a youthful spirit, Krista deeply admires Saba’s passion for helping others and is so grateful for her constant love and support throughout law school and beyond.

Krista and Katt met during their undergraduate years at the University of Ottawa, where they became sisters through Nu Sigma Pi. Katt has been a steadfast source of support, a wonderful Auntie to Bobby, and endlessly loyal to her friends and their families. Fun-loving and always up for an adventure—or a great movie night—Krista is so thankful to have Katt by her side for this special day.

Krista and Cathy met through volunteer work in the Fort McMurray community and have been supporting each other ever since. As one of Krista’s COVID bubble buddies, Cathy has always brought the fun and laughter—never hesitating to drive all over Western Canada to show up, be there, and cheer her friends on. Krista is so grateful for her unwavering energy and friendship.

Lindsey and Krista met through the Young Family Connection and quickly formed a bond that feels more like sisterhood. Lindsey has been a huge support in helping Krista settle into life in the Ardmore/Lakeland community, and together they share a love of board games, shopping, hosting and entertaining, and relaxing by the lake.

Colleen is one of the most positive and uplifting friends you could ever meet. Always up for a laugh, a theme party, a glass of wine, and some dancing, she brings joy wherever she goes. Colleen and Krista first met through volunteer work in Fort McMurray and quickly became inseparable—especially during the pandemic as “COVID bubble buddies.” Their friendship grew even stronger as their boys formed an amazing bond of their own.

Brian and Neil have shared a bromance ever since their days working together at Suncor north of Fort McMurray. Their friendship is full of travel adventures, spreadsheet-loving planning sessions, and discovering unique food destinations. They’ve been tight friends for years, and Neil’s wit and camaraderie make him a perfect part of the wedding celebration.

Brian and Will have been friends since Will was Brian’s roommate and played an uncle-like role during Murphy’s early years. He, his partner Karlee, and their kids are close family friends, and Brian is grateful for Will’s friendship—and his love of strong drinks, perfectly matching Brian’s!

Todd and Brian worked together for years, bonding over travel, fine dining, and drinks. Todd and his family have grown close with Krista, and their boys are like nephews to the couple. Krista and Brian cherish all the memories made with Todd and Claudia and are thrilled to have him as part of the wedding party.

Ben met Brian and Krista back in high school, and their friendship has stood the test of time ever since. A true jack-of-all-trades, Ben is always finding something to fix - whether it needs fixing or not! He's also an amazing uncle to Bobby and Murphy, and a firm believer that any occasion can be made better with a GOOD TIME. Count on Ben to keep the laughs coming and the party going - a tried and true legend of a friend.

Brian met Josh when he was just Krista’s little kid brother, and they’ve been friends for over 20 years. Josh always thought Brian was “the one,” and the two get along fantastically—especially when it comes to their shared talent for pestering Krista!

Brian met Trevor through the Crane Lake Crew, and they’ve been friends ever since. Trevor brings fun wherever he goes and is sure to add plenty of energy—and maybe a little mischief—to the wedding celebrations!

A long-time friend of Brian’s, Stephen is known for his fun-loving nature and easygoing charm. He brings a carefree energy to the group and is always there for his friends through life’s biggest moments. We’re so excited to have Stephen by our side to celebrate this special day!

Friends of both the bride and groom, Darren is the life of any celebration—always bringing the pizazz (and making sure you’ve got a drink in hand!). Known for his signature sequin suspenders and bow tie, he’s as sparkling in spirit as he is in style. Darren is a dear friend who was an incredible support to the family while Krista was in law school in Saskatoon, and everyone is thrilled to celebrate with him today!

Murphy is Brian’s son and Krista’s amazing stepson. The big brother to Bobby, he’s funny, full of energy, and a rising football star. When he’s not dominating on the field, you’ll find him conquering video games or having a blast with his friends—always keeping everyone laughing along the way!

Bobby is Krista and Brian’s youngest son, bringing endless laughter, playfulness, and energy to the family. A wonderful surprise who truly completed their crew, Bobby has been the best thing for everyone—and the best little brother Murphy could ask for.

Eoghan is a curious, smart, and fun-loving junior groomsman who will light up the wedding with his wonder, intelligence, and smile! He’s Krista and Brian’s little nephew and the son of their close family friends, Laila and Niall.

Aodhan is Krista and Brian’s nephew and the son of their close family friends, Laila and Niall. Born just weeks apart from Bobby, the two have grown up like cousins and are thick as thieves. Aodhan is an important part of the family, loved for his big heart, boundless energy, and infectious laughter.
